These organizations accept and care for straying or abandoned dogs, cats and even donkeys and spend effort and money to find new homes for these unfortunate animals.
France, Switzerland and Germany are “strong markets” to accept homeless animals and we are constantly looking for “sponsors” who are willing to accept a dog or cat as “luggage” back home. The animals are checked in by the organization and are being picked up by their new owners when arriving at the airport. In other words the job of the “sponsor” is simply and only to allow the animal to travel “on his/her ticket” to keep the cost of transporting of the animal as low as possible.
